I'm criticizing her for her lack of composure and professionalism.
I could honestly spend the rest of the afternoon linking judge after judge showing their asses during sentencing...
Judges, much like surgeons, have a bit of a god complex, and they REALLY like to display it.
This has zero to do with race...

Then you should. I bet there are tons and would love the entertainment.

The cop is guilty, but it's sad that we have judges who can't speak proper English.
She misused the phrase "struck out" when it should have been the phrase "stood out". Yet the closed captioning corrected it for her.

How 'bout I just post a Youtube link to a shite ton of them and you can enjoy going down the rabbit hole of jackass judges...
LINK
While I appreciate your desire to say it was her unprofessionalism, her actions are FAR FAR from unusual when it comes to sentencing. And, defending on the person being sentenced and what they were convicted of, people seem to either support or rail against the judge...but hardly ever step back and say, "Huh...maybe they should just hand out the sentence, act like a pro, and move the frick on."
Now, if you're the rare bird that will watch the videos and come away thinking the above, then hats off to you.

'preciate the link. While I'm not totally against the judges expressing their feelings about the crimes, I do feel there is a fine line that they should not cross. Anyways

I've never seen a white judge bring race into the equation. Why couldn't she just be outraged that a cop unjustly beat a citizen?
I thought she was unprofessional myself. What word did she say that was bleeped out? Was it the N word? If so, there's no place for that in a courtroom.

The officer joked about beating a ******.
Agreed that it did. I just was surprised she actually said the word herself.. Even if quoting him. Oh well.
