I'm not a blind supporter of Vitter, he was the best man for the job.

If you'll remember, Vitter fricking trounced Melancon in his first election after the scandal. Then all the sudden you all grow a conscious? Nope. The "honor code west point grad" played dirty and all you naïve republicans bought his bullshite hook, line, and sinker.

There's a reason Vitter made the runoff and Angelle didn't. He was the better candidate.

"honor code" Bitch JBE to hold a press conference at 3, I wonder if he will reflect on how his coddling and memorial to a man who tried to murder Baton Rouge police officers empowered BLM terrorists to carry out this ambush and actually murder police officers.

I still do not see a link or quotes or anything that supports the statement that Edwards honored sterling

“From the beginning, I have called for all Louisianans to come together so that we can emerge from this tragedy stronger than we were. I continue to believe that is not only possible, but it is a critical step in uniting our community, state, and nation. That means we all have to do our part. Law enforcement officers must carry out their sacred duty to protect and serve in a way that earns the trust of our communities. At the same time, all Louisianans must make their voices heard in a constructive way that brings us closer together and makes true progress a reality. That is how we honor the lives of Alton Sterling and the police officers who lost their lives in Dallas. I am proud of the work of law enforcement and the overwhelming number of citizens who want their voices heard in a peaceful manner, and I look forward to continuing this dialogue in the weeks and months ahead."

Nothing wrong with that quote. It's a really sensitive time and seemed he's trying to unite everyone together with that quote.

Have u noticed he has never went with the gun control agenda all the dem's have pushed? Have u noticed he has made Louisiana the only state to pass "blue lives matter" . Where any crime to a policeman, fireman, emt, is subject to hate crime penalties. First state in country to adopt this so far. Think he has done a pretty good job in last two weeks in my opinion.

What he was saying there was directed at both sides. The pro Sterling crowd and the pro Police crowd. Basically calling for peace to not have a Baltimore like situation break out.

I don't think in big situations like this you can read out of context and that has 0 to do with politics.

The real problem was Angelle and Dardenne both backing Edwards and abandoning the party.
