I don't understand all the Darwin jokes.

If you think about it, most of us sit on our arse in front of a computer/tv or sleep 80% of the time and spend the other 20% eating, drinking, and smoking shite that is going to kill us eventually through cancer or heart disease.

Meanwhile these fly-suit guys are out in some of the most beautiful areas on this planet, flying through the god damn air at hundreds of miles an hour (okay, maybe only 50 mph) while entertaining the fat fricks at home in front of their screens, inspiring young kids to get out and do something with their lives, and making panties wet from one end of the globe to another.

We fat fricks (I'm not really fat) can inspire kids as well. You don't need to defy death on a regular basis to live a fulfilling life.

He was an adrenaline junkie. That's fine if that's how he wants to live his life, but let's call it what it is.

Well, I prefer to have "not really lived" for the last 31 years, can't think of a good reason to have been dead 31 years already but that's just me.

Maybe doing something heroic like Joe Dulaney but this is just a very showy self-absorbed pursuit.

I don't wish any of them ill or anything but my first thought is neither "What a tragedy" nor "what a great life".

This. I dont see why there are people in this thread white-knighting for this guy just because people in this thread aren't being especially sympathetic to what happened.

First off, he died doing a notoriously risky stunt, and he did this risky stunt really often it seems.

Secondly, he wasn't helping people, giving to the world, he was just doing what HE wanted to do. How is that admirable?

I'm sure he wasn't a bad guy, but its not like he was changing the world or anything. Sad he died young, but it was clearly an accident waiting to happen.
