I go to El Paso for work every month or two and my accounts there are all Hispanic. They try to talk me into going out in Juarez every time I’m there...

Haven’t done it yet. I’ve seen Sicario

a wall will make it to where coyotes actually have to work. people will actually have to use coyotes.

he says the wall will do nothing, but then doesn't say anything specific about how they'll circumvent it.

like most guests on jre, they have a narrative they run with and sprinkle a few facts around it.

Actually started this one on my commute this morning. Super interesting stuff. The craziest thing was when he took a stab at the corrupt/not corrupt split, and without hesitation answered 30%. That's insanity

Sidenote, The wife got us tickets to Rogan's standup show in Denver for my birthday

i guess you didn't pay attention. He said they have been preparing for a wall for years. it is common for drones to get drugs over. one method the coyotes are using more and more is to fly folks to canada and have them walk down. He mentions tunnels as well.

You stop it by not giving illegal immigrants jobs. It is pretty simple. A wall won't do anything. It happened when the recession hit in 2008 they were going back to their country because of no work.

You have to stop giving the ones who don't work benefits. If they made every illegal immigrant with a job legal on the condition that they started paying taxes I wouldn't give a shite. Hell, a lot of them do pay taxes.

so if they're having to go out of their way, the wall isn't doing anything?

how will the wall do nothing? how will they circumvent the wall as if it isn't there?

it creates a huge impediment, so they have to come up with less efficient and slower ways of doing things.

he contradicts himself by saying the wall does nothing and at the same time saying how they'll have to do things differently.

how will the coyotes act as if the wall isn't there?

I listened to it in my office so I was in and out, but I thought he said he was for the wall, but ultimately the cartels are way in front of us. He discussed the large amount of corruption at play. I would think he means on both sides. As long as palms can be greased they will find a way. I mean he mentioned a damned submarine. And he said the only reason it got caught was because it had maintenance issues. that's nuts.

Love the Trump Train.

However, are you serious? You actually believe that a wall is going to stop the sneakiest bunch of people on the planet from getting into our country?

If they started 12 years ago, before the wall is finished there will be drones capable of carrying people up to 10 miles.

Act like you have some sense.

He’s basically saying the Cartel is already wayyy beyond concerning themselves with the wall

The one trafficker they mentioned said the wall would be “good for business”

You should go, baw. Make them take you to get some chucho shots at one of the first couple of bars on the right immediately after you cross. Then get a marg or two from the Kentucky Club right there, where margs were supposedly invented (though probably not, but it’s fun to pretend).

Then Uber to Ardeo for a damn good meal. Make sure you drink a lot of Mexican wine with the steaks. Can’t for wrong with Casa Madero.

Then Uber to El Recreo - oldest bar in town - for some sotol. If you see a quiet old Mexican guy hunched over in a stool... that’s the owner. His dad built the bar when he was a little kid

Shoot, I’m there pretty regularly as well. I’ll take you if you want
