Don’t be fooled, he is such a Leftist POS who panders to the cool people who aren’t.

EDIT: When I saw the downvotes, I realized I did not calriffy that I was talking about Joe Rogan, not Marcus. I love Marcus Lutrell and one of my college buddies was portrayed in Lone Survivor.

Rogan is a classic liberal, so he manages to piss off both the right and left at times

He is very much freedom of speech, 2nd amendment, etc but he also strongly believes in things like UBI

Ryan Reynolds, Amy Smart, Anna Faris, and Chris Klein might be the most early-2000s cast ever.

Anna Faris

I actually like her but was surprised when she admitted that her marriage to Chris Pratt dissolved bc she was angry his career took off while hers stalled.

It is possible to enjoy the conversation with the guest and put politics aside, unless it is someone in politics. I think Rogan leaves his politics out of it when the conversation doesn't warrant it.

Didn't Luttrell's stepson go to LSU? Did they talk at all about the current campus culture?

Rogan can be feast-or-famine depending on his guest list, and he tends to get on runs about a general topic, which can be good and bad.

For example, over the past couple of months it seems like a third of the episodes are MMA shows, which doesn’t interest me.

Agreed.

Seems like Rogan's guest rotation has been pretty weak since making the move to Spotify, though it's unclear whether that's a byproduct of Spotify, not being in LA anymore and thus not having proximity to as many 'name' guests, or what.

To your point, it feels like he's over-rotated on the MMA pods lately, which I don't listen to or find interesting at all.

I'm definitely interested in hearing Luttrell tell his story, though.

This guy's usually a good listen.

Joe needs to have Tim Dillon, the Weinstein bros, and Lex Fridman on a monthly rotation to talk about current events and whatever's new in the finance/tech/science/politics world.
