Top Golf would be on state-owned land. Obviously land the governor wants to be used for some buddies at some point.

what doesn't make sense about it?

What part of my question don’t you understand?

Why appoint someone if you’re going to tell them how to do their job?

Does the President tell the judges they appoint how to do their job?

If he wanted to run the convention center then his title should be President of the Convention Commission.

Drive Shack is a cheap knock off to Top Golf.

Actually, I've been to the Drive Shack in Orlando, and it's pretty awesome.

This is not a knock on Top Golf, which is great as well.

To think without political interference, LA would be home to Walt Disney World

Lacombe, La., to be specific.

Southern Louisiana as a whole would look a lot different had all the politicians not had their hands out, and driven Walt to central Florida.

And Baton Rouge was on the short list for Johnson Space Center before it went to Houston.

Let’s not forget the billions and billions in oil revenue the state has collected for over a century and squandered. We should have the nicest fricking roads and schools in the region. Instead.....
