That is why I qualified it.....BUT, I DO believe that a SWAT TEAM should be trained like our elite forces.....don't you?

Yes. 100%. But the more that comes to light about Uvalde, the more it seems there was a deliberate effort by law enforcement to not intervene. I won’t speculate as to why. But you can have the most lethal, honed response team on earth and they’re useless if those in charge won’t turn them loose.
And you can look at our own history of piss poor responses to see that my point is correct.

Like he points out... you now have up to 20 officers inside the school with 1 shooter. That's a situation you can win everyday. There might be casualties but you win that fight if you actually attempt to engage the gunman.

I think he addressed that, but I will address it as a man and normal human.
Would you care if the orders were to STAND DOWN if you KNEW that children were still alive AND you continued to hear gun shots?
I can only speculate about how I would honestly respond, but I think I would disregard ORDERS and do my best to stop the killing.
