Job A
I speak from experience being on call sucks arse and make no mistake about it, you will never have a day where you don’t get an after hours call.

A.
Money is good with B., but one thing I have learned is that the more you make; the more you spend.
Too many people don’t put enough value on peace of mind. Not having call, work from home, consistent hours, etc. all adds up to a lower stress life. You’ll be a happier person in the long run with A.

$70-$90k in passive income annually
I'm more interested in learning how you achieved this.

With that much passive income, I would choose B in a heartbeat.
I was on call for 10 years, throughout my entire 20s and it was absofrickinglutely miserable.
Here I am at 37, working M-F 7-4, in a different industry, now making double what I was making during those on call years.

On call as in major emergency, otherwise taking phone calls to give direction regularly, which doesn’t bother me.

A
4x10 option, low stress, very stable.
You get an extra day to unwind, do what you want or side hustle doing something you really like.
How much less your out of pocket costs are with a 4 versus 5 day work week is a factor as well

A- Quality of life and less stress. Money will come later if you learn from it. Eventually as you get older you'll work smarter. I wish I knew someone who lived it.
