No. Admissions standards are far from lax. Several girls at St Joseph’s were either denied admission or placed in the program that requires summer stay on campus and taking classes to prove you belong. There were 57,000 applications this year and 7500 were taken. It’s significantly tougher to get into LSU today than it ever was. This is a good thing and should continue. Those who cannot make the cut, have options in Hammond, Lafayette, Thibodaux and elsewhere.

Tate probably would like to have done some of those things what it comes down to is money. He was smart and knew where the bread is buttered.
