I don't understand the negative response to this thread. After googling it, the first thing I thought of was whether or not this could be considered a form of child molestation. I became more curious about the topic...

I am only guessing here, but do men have complete control? In other words, can the man force his wife to have sex with him anytime he wants it? Or is it more conservative in terms of only having sex at certain times, etc?

I believe the 7 day "waiting period" (pun?) allows for more children. I do not believe they are prohibited from sex during the non-fertile times.
