One of my good friends was gunned down and shot 9 or 10 times in front of the car wash and that case was never solved either.

Same here grew up in Jennings, and my brother graduated from JHS. If some one new to town was picking up hoes and killing them, it might would work a few times but then who would leave with someone the didn't know?? It was definitely someone they all knew....

So this is pretty the much the plot to the new HBO show True Detectives?
The guy who wrote/writes True Detectives had family in Jennings years ago. His grandfather, Nick Pizzolatto, had a shop in Jennings. I don't remember if it was a shoe & boot repair or a shoe store. Later moved to Houma and opened a shop.

Kenny Wayne? I heard he got killed. Always a nice guy even to little white dudes.

My mind is blown in this thread.
I usually skip the Welsh exit but I stop off in Jennings a ton for some fast food.
I always felt like it was an odd place when the kids were hanging in Mcdonalds like it was a night club.

I'm biased but Jennings is nicer than most La towns. Definitely the nicest between LC and Laffy

I'd say Crowley is nicer. They get the edge because they don't have a serial killer that we know about.

Know how I know you haven't lived in Crowley?
Some kind soul built projects throughout Crowley.
