What a wall of bullshite WAPO talking points

maybe... however, i do know that if it was anyone other than Trump, and the person had the exact same history of conduct and comments regarding racial issues, i don't think it would take a large majority here to agree that the person has a problem with race...

like i said, i'm not going to sit here and say the dude is the most racist person to ever live or anything, but to deny, especially when given actual, historical evidence of some pretty racially motivated and insensitive things, that he's ever had an issue with race is non-sensical... nor am i saying that Trump supporters are, in totality, racists... far from it... there are plenty of very, very good Trump supporters... lots of them... they support him for one reason or another, depending on the person... however, it's hard to argue with his history of racial run-ins...

The Racial Grievance Industry is a growth industry because it pays extremely well. Racism on demand ( by blacks only ) is very profitable. Jemele ain’t hurting, and if things get tight for her she will just shake down a white liberal at a media giant and get that gravy flowing. It’s quite a gig.

From the wapo article you got that from

quote:

“laziness is a trait in blacks” — for which there is no actual recording; it is a secondhand quote attributed to Trump by a former employee.

again you are just posting leftist talking points

Its actually pathetic at this point

true, but the thing that really irritates me about it is the consistently crying "wolf" inherently hurts ACTUAL claims of racism, of which there still are... it's just frustrating to see all these "woke" individuals doing much more harm than good, but being willfully oblivious to the harm they are doing...

I guess all those white players were forced to visit the White House from 2009-2017 to visit that other racist. (See how that works?)

Tim Thomas, goalie for the Bruins, refused the White House invite after winning the Stanley Cup vs Vancouver. He said he wouldn't go because Obama was divisive and he disagreed with every decision politically.

Thomas was not lauded as a hero, or a worthy protestor. He was described as the racist in that situation. And his time with the Bruins didnt last much longer.

i actually didn't get it from that... it's not hard to do a simple search for Trump and racial issues and compile your own list, you know...

quote:

again you are just posting leftist talking points

pointing out his actual historical evidence of issues with race is not promoting "talking points"... it's pointing out his historical evidence of issues with race... the guy asked a question, i provided evidence of why it could be argued Trump could be considered racist... i didn't say "he is and here's the reasons why"... all i did was compile known instances of Trump being involved in a racially motivated issue...

quote:

Its actually pathetic at this point

pathetic is totally ignoring facts and sticking your head in the sand, even when it's clear that i'm not trying to lambaste Trump nor Trump supporters... i understand that nowadays everything is hyper political, but i was just giving an answer to the question...

I'm not saying none of that happened at all. I think the issue is like everything on the internet, what is true? I know there were many interviews from black employees of Trump and former black employees that denied the whole, him making them walk off the floor before he came in.

And I believe the Fair Housing issue was against his dad, may can check on that though.

yep, you got me...

do yourself a favor and search my poliboard post history... i've been ultra consistent on my view of the 2016 election and my thoughts on both candidates...

sadly, they are... i understand that we live in a world, now, where anything that you don't agree with is no longer "fact", but at the end of the day, those instances predate Trump the politician... there was no political motivation to those claims, at the the time they were made... but yet, they were still made...

unfortunately, even if you take that specific instance out, it's still hard to argue with what he's said himself, either on TV, in interviews, or on Twitter, about other events/people, along with actual charges, lawsuits, etc...

my whole thing is when someone consistently shows you who they are, believe them... again, i'm not going to sit here and say Trump is a stone cold racist... but given some of the things he's said and done, i do think he has issues with race and how to correctly navigate some issues of race...

They dont give a frick...they are getting rich. While other blacks are getting poorer, they make a living guiding the sheep to the ballot box.

They hurt everyone black or white...

No strife in this country, they become irrelevant...see how this works..

Yeah, sure, but you can't say them and then say, well maybe they aren't true, but even if you take them out he's racist. I mean, either they are true and should be said, or they are false or unproven and never should have been posted to begin with.

t's still hard to argue with what he's said himself

What are some video or audio links of him saying what you are referring to? He may have very well said some bad stuff, I'm not at all denying it. I'd just like to see it. And I'd like to see the entire context of what he said, not just a quick clip.

ETA: And not many illegals coming from Mexico are bad people. I'm Hispanic and he is absolutely correct on that. Many of them are bad, many are also good.

When did Trump all of a sudden be racist to black people? Like can I get some examples?

i'm not saying they aren't true.. i'm saying that we are contending if they are or not, so for the sake of the argument, that even if you sideline those instances, for the argument's sake, it doesn't negate the other instances...

being neither you nor I were there and can prove that those claims were true or false, i suspect we will agree to disagree about the validity of each side's claim, believing that each side's claim is the correct and true claim...

not everything is going to be like the Access Hollywood situation and have audio and/or video, especially considering the era which most of the instances i singled out occurred before the hyper focus on media/social media... but i'm sure if you researched it yourself, you'd find your own evidence, which you could choose to accept as fact or reject, depending on your own interpretation and level of consistency as it relates to racial issues... i can't judge evidence for you.... hell, nowadays i could probably bring most people a handsigned copy of him shitting in his pants and they'd blame someone else, or that it's doctored footage, or whatever other absurd reason to NOT believe what's staring them in the face....

That's the thing, when Trump first started running I assumed he was racist due to what everyone was saying. I researched the hell out of it and never found anything. Mostly just some people's opinions, but many more who actually knew Trump and even former employees who were minorities and worked for Trump, mostly denying it.

1973 it managed 14,382 apartments. By then, 17 African Americans had filed 15 complaints of discrimination in the application process. So the whole Housing and Discrimination lawsuit out of 14,382 apartments, 17 AAs filed complaints.
