I'm a live and let live person. Always will be. Hold many "progressive" stances.
I will never force anyone to alter their speech in order to fit someone else's fantasy. It is a method of control and no one wants to control you more than the progressive left. When I was a kid, it was the religious right that pissed me off to no end. Today, it is progressives.
And I refuse to hear "well the hardcore righties still do it". Nope. Here is another case where a freaking preacher, which is a far right as you can take it when it comes to religion, is being canceled for wrong think.
