I would suggest that it was when a usurper was installed as dictator, I mean, President.

So did John Mellencamp and Willie Nelson. Doesn't change the fact that the political left in this country has abandoned their historical base of support (the white working class and farmers) for environmental yahoos and social justice types. Their support for Farm Aid may be laudable, but if they support climate change legislation, which Springsteen does, they're no friend of small American farmers. They're actually pawns of corporate agriculture, who have the deep pockets to abide by staunch EPA and environmental regulations.

If you consider them dressing up Uber-Communist Bruce Springsteen as a Midwestern rancher to blathering about finding the “middle” when he himself has for years been a leftists, as somehow “great” then I can’t help you.

The small midwestern rancher aint a Republican. The corporation he is trying to supply via contract is.

Dumbass people like you are why Conservative values are losing on the ballot. You think because someone puts on cowboy boots they are going to vote a certain way.

Downvote away. The disconnect between conservative values and the conservative ticket is why the GOP struggles instead of thrives like it should.

Imagine if the US had gone full throttle into the nuclear power game 50 years ago instead of listening to the whacko enviros? Climate change wouldnt be a thing.

Springsteen has never had anything to do with Farm Aid. Willie Nelson, Mellencamp, and Neil Young

YT is owned by Google. A division of Google. Subsidiary if that's what you prefer to call it. You're overthinking a single word lol

Don't know about 2020, but in 2016 farmers supported Trump at about a 3 to 1 margin. And this change has everything to do with environmentalists taking over the Democratic platform.
