DMV is closed ... where can I go for a tag and license plate.
"That's a great question .. I don't know the answer sitting here". Some curbside services; he'll get the info to her.

Are you really comparing a trip to the outdoor section of Lowe's to sitting in an hour long church service?
No I"m not. I'm relating questions during this thing.

State police has seen uptick in fatal crashes even though traffic is down. "Rules of roads and traffic laws still apply".

Will Catholic schools be able to hold graduation and mass at the end of May.
JBE "I don't know". Grad ceremonies won't look like May of 2018. Be patient. Guidance is coming later this month.

Were you surprised at the racial discrepencies?
JBE: Yes. Surprised. Disappointed. Need to reduce disparities over time. We want people to be as healthy as possible (yes please). They on average have more co-morbidities. Learned that it's showing up the same in other places, Detroit, Milwaukee.
Take your meds. Watch your diet.
(I've got so many thoughts on this but I'll refrain)

Hadn't thought about letting the younger age groups go to work and let older stay home.
Talking again about antibody testing need.

It's clear from guidelines to take special care of those by age or chronic health condition. If you're over 65 and have these conditions work from home if you can and if not wear a mask adn social distance.

KAREN asked how long travel restrictions to Texas will be in place.
JBE: IDK I'm not in charge. His understanding is that you can go BUT you'll be asked to quarantine. You shouldn't be "not allowed". On major routes last time he checked and it wasn't just Louisiana.

Katie in NOLA: can governor use emergency authority for "something to do with voting".
He already has. He can't do more than he's done .. needs legislature to approve the Sec of State plan. No one should be put at risk of coVID to exercise their right to vote.

KAREN in BR: Is hydroxy being used in Louisiana?
JBE: not sure; some patients contraindicated; won't pretend to be a doc. It is being used in many hospitals with Z-pack and also with something else "(he didn't name the third thing in the triple cocktail he alluded to)
