And just to be clear. I think it’s safe and I understand doctors and nurses being obligated or even feeling it necessary to get it for work due to the people they must work with in terms of illnesses and so forth. I’m just saying the 95% rate may need more context. It makes practical sense for them.

Most were required just like most are required to get the flu shot. It’s not voluntary. At least it’s not for Ochsner.
Wrong. Flu shots have never been mandatory at any hospital. You can sign a waiver and they say you need to wear a mask but it’s never enforced.
You and your wife need to work on communication because if she works there she knows that.

Stop putting words in my mouth. I never said “you need some legit reason” because you don’t. You simply sign the waiver saying you don’t want it and that you are going to wear a mask.
You can disagree with that, but it’s not mandatory vaccination.
I’ve seen the waiver. You have second hand information from your wife. Go ask her again.

You’re seriously being a little bitch about this because you’re missing the point. Hospitals expect doctors and nurses to get the flu shot and the covid shot. It’s obligated “or else…” And like I said it’s not a bad thing and makes sense due to the people they’re constantly interacting with. It provides context to the high acceptance rate. It’s literally part of their job to interact with sick people so being vaccinated is the right thing to do. It doesn’t mean it makes sense for everyone.

It tells me that, without an underlying condition, chances of death are almost nonexistent. Combined with an avg age of death of 74, Louisiana Covid deaths were older people already approaching death due to health issues.
Since February 21
Average age of death of 74 (I’m guessing that’s what your number shows?)
Median age of death of 72 (announced by the governing today)
This is an old persons disease in terms of fatality. Elderly, get vaccinated and socially distance. One of these things works.

I work at a major hospital and they are making everyone get the flu shot. A note from your doctor doesn't work anymore. I had to claim religious reasons to not get it.

Look frick JBE, but you have to admit that it is absolutely mesmerizing to watch that shite stain stare perfectly at two camera lenses at the same time even though they’re on opposite sides of the room.
