Shutting down hospitals for everything but Covid created a backlog of patients seeking treatment for other issues.
The backlog is now being handled along with Covid patients.
We are now adding the backlogged patients to the Covid numbers because some of them are in worse shape than they should be because they had to delay treatments and procedures.
I admire the way unintended consequences are spun into opportunities by political leaders.

If you’re going to store and not talking to people or getting close to anyone, there’s a very very slim chance you’ll get sick. Wash your hands before you touch your face and you should be fine. You’re more likely to catch it from hanging out with different people in close quarters
