Our hospital resources aren't overwhelmed.

As they were the first go round. It isn't protest and taking down the government. It is just people living their lives inside the new parameters.

If you don't see a difference between this time and the first time, you're either blind of just being willfully ignorant. I've seen enough of your posts about covid to know it's the latter.

I was also in California last week in counties with mask mandates. Over half weren’t wearing the masks and many employees mandated to do so were wearing them around their chin. Of 3 dozen times I went indoors without a mask, I was only asked to put on a mask once and it was by a fat soy boy who said their piece of shite Governor said it was the law, and when I pointed out that piece of shite violates his mandates all the time said I needed to be masked for his safety. People aren’t going to take it for much longer. I reached my total breaking point in April, and I suspect anyone that isn’t a total moron, coward, or tyrant will reach theirs right around this week.

You won't do shite.

All the last 18 months has shown me is that the vast majority of Americans won't do shite. I'm included in this. We will all just live our lives in whatever new parameters we are given.

I actively went out, travelled, went to house parties, and otherwise ignored all regulations.

I guess, ironically enough, ignoring regulations does sort of sound similar to “not doing anything”, but it’s more akin to “not changing how I live”

So...an OUTDOOR event in a city with a mask mandate is still too dangerous?

The rules have were never like this, that is why it appears different.

Full capacity, no distancing, bar seating, bars open, live events allowed...

Just have to wear masks when standing.

Want to make a $20 bet that he isn’t going to make some sort of address sometime this week calling for governors to call for total mask mandates, social distancing, and saying if we spread out for two weeks that we can defeat the delta variant? I’m not saying we’ll successfully be locked down, but yeah he’s going to be calling for it while refusing to call it an actual lockdown. Fortunately DeSantis has enough balls to not take that standing down and I think will instead ignite people into mass protesting over complying.

And lots of people are ignoring even that simple rule, because they are over the bullshite.

Downvoting isn't changing reality
