Kenny Wayne and Samantha Fish are solid shows

no ne goes to jazzfest anymore it’s way too crowded
So is it too crowded or does no one go?
Seriously, I have been thinking about taking my daughter to Jazz Fest for a couple of years now and she is getting to old to want to do a long weekend with Daddy. Is it a miserable experience or just miserable for those lucky enough to see most of the acts throughout the year in less crowded environs?
Any suggestions would be great. I assume its multiple venues and tickets? We would be far more interested in the local talent than the headliners. Any expert advice would be appreciated.

Saw Kenny open for Johnny Winter at HOB in early 90s, he was still in high school. Also saw him join BB at Club Ebony in Indianola, MS

Seen him live twice. Very good performer and very talented as well. Played like 4 instruments during one set.

And still somehow, someway a half a million people will pass through those gates in April.
I'd imagine you'll see lower attendance with this lineup. Or more Cali losers.

Is Kenny Wayne related to Lil Wayne?

It will still be packed no matter whos in the lineup.

Take your daughter. If she's a teenager or close, this will be an event that she will always remember, especially if y'all have a good time.
I haven't been in 30 years, always been reluctant to spend this much, plus the parking and the crowds. But I say Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives in September, and I want to see them again.

Zach is my baw, love that guy. Lots of powerhouse vocals in that little fella.

Who determines what your level is on the poster? Seems to be some serious discrepancies.

Awesome. At The Saenger. In like 1990.
It's 2025.
Yep. Jazzfest? As a headliner?
Goodness gracious, they played the Veterans Blvd neutral ground last year during Family Gras... and that was FREE.

My cousin plays the guitar for him.

Gotta say that lineup leaves a lot to be desired. Not much draw there

Yes, a bit on the stale side
