Correct. The town was named after his great-grandfather.

Carville is 1 million times better than the current psychos running the Democratic Party.

I’ve known him for 40 years and while I have zero in common with him politically, he’s always been a very cordial, approachable guy who is very smart and interesting to talk to. He does a lot for LSU and Tulane and does most of it very professionally and quietly. He doesn’t miss an opportunity to talk LSU up but you never hear him talk about himself regarding that.

So I’d say your assumption is wrong.

I wouldn't even care what that alien has to say if he wasn't attempting to represent groups that overwhelmingly and vehemently disagree with his vile words and actions.

uhhhh--LSU lit up tiger stadium in George Floyd's high school colors and took a war hero's name off the library but kept the money he gave to the school. They put BLM on the football teams uniforms.

I wouldn't say Carville in representing LSU was offensive to any of the powers that be at LSU.

He most definitely didnt come up with that line, though with his accent he can sell it like he did .

My favorite line of his , when people ask him about his college years, he always says “LSU was da best 8 years of mah life !” And it’s true, between flunking out and coming back, then law school, etc , he really did attend LSU for that long.. but of course he wasnt the first one to say the line .

I wish more of our country currently would be like you and James .

But of course, everyone just wants to yell at each other, and each side will say that the other side started it .. and so it goes .

fair enough, I’m unfortunately getting conditioned to the current political environment where everyone must hate everything from the other party without any discussion, unlike the old days where you could have respectful, friendly discussions and still be friendly with each other, apologies
