It's not that for me. There are truly incredibly weird things that actually ARE true. For me, it's WHY people believe them in the face of no real evidence.
Mulder's poster in X-Files always used to piss me off! I don't want to believe...I want to KNOW! I'm a slave to the evidence, and there really are very few things that I have a stand on in terms of "wanting" them to be true or not.
Some of this stuff is scary to me, because if one can be so easily convinced that chemtrails are real, vaccines cause autism, homeopathy is true, etc then you'll believe anything.
