They kicked a lady out of the bar, said that she was banned. She was just minding her own business with friends. Reason given: homophobic slurs in the past
They banned her to please other patrons. Said patrons were never offended by any language used in the past, they just wanted this person humiliated.
The bar sucks in general on top of having shitty regulars. I don’t think that ivar’s is woke per se, but the chickenshits there aren’t above using it.

I was a Ivar’s regular for probably 10 years and I agree it sucks. It’s just depressing how dark and shitty everything is in there now.

I saw the whole thing with my own eyes and heard it with my own ears, including the other patron thanking the manager for the removal. You got text messages, likely from biased sources.
