Healthcare workers in the U.S. are getting this and dying though. There was a nurse in his late 30s that just died from this in New York(not obese but he did have a history of asthma). And that naturally is gonna scare those that have to care for these patients. Also...many of these healthcare workers may not even necessarily be scared of getting it and them dying...they are mainly worried about taking this home to their loved ones or unknowingly spreading it to the patients they care for.

And before you say "well they must not be healthy then"....newsflash...many people have some underlying health condition that they may have no control over (ex: asthma, etc). How many people do you know that are overweight or obese? Already been shown obesity a major risk factor cause those obese patients don't do well at all once they get on a ventilator.

I never said there was no danger. I said that some are being drama queens about it. Most health care workers don't fall into the high risk categories. If one does fall into one of those categories then that person shouldn't be working right now, at least not near infected people. And no healthcare worker should be exposing themselves to loved one who fall into a high risk category.

I was wondering why the Pentagon was sitting on 5 million respirator masks that they donated.

The pentagon...5 million respirator masks.

but who is at fault?

Not the hospital staff that just work there and have NOTHING to do with supply ordering.

Get angry at the C-suite people that had results from the national novel flu pandemic exercise that was done just last year at many hospitals around the country and likely ignored findings that showed PPE stock as a weakness that would need to be addressed.

Even after paying lavish salaries, these non-profit hospitals had enough left over to add nearly $40 billion to their bottom-line.
Would buy lots of PPE

I guess when your a non-profit you have to give the profit to someone. But yea let’s not put the blame on the hospitals.

Can't do that. It's Trump's fault hospital administrators can't do their jobs.
