This board continually vastly underestimates the amount of adults that need managed, many of which have to have shitty managers managing them because good managers don't want to work with shitty employees.
That's why my business is booming. They just keep hiring consultants to come in and try and fix the problems.

Working in my home office right now.
You're not working.

Plus you don’t have to worry about encountering any Cyclops, Sirens or Calypso because you aren’t commuting.
Well isn't it quite obvious by now that Odysseus32 is just a Homer?

I don't see the big deal. I can work more efficiently with my pants off while I'm relaxed than I can in a stuffy office having to worry about someone tapping me on the shoulder.
Everyone loves to think this about themselves but there’s just no evidence that it’s true.

Zoom, which remains a leader in the post-pandemic remote work trend, is now asking all employees within 50 miles of a company office to go in at least two days a week on a hybrid schedule.

Personally anecdotal, but I spend 3-4 hrs less on my phone on days I work from home.
I don't really need my phone to do my job.
I frick off a lot.

I permanently WFH- written into my contract. shite is so chill. Most new hires are hybrid though.

I was working from home before COVID, and you'd have to give me an extremely favorable compensation package to convince me I need to change that.
