I should probably start a seperate thread for this but what I am wondering is what happens when this is over? I mean insurance won't cover anything and if the taxpayers cover it and build them a nice new neighborhood, which we will 100% will, what kind of precedent does that set? It is just going to encourage this kind of behavior in other cities. What do you guys think?

The owner of the CVS apparently said he wasn't afraid to return to the area. He apparently needs a police report for the insurance claim.

Detroit is a bad example but this happened there a few years back, black mayor, and after it was over he basically said, you burned down and tore up your own neighborhood and you want us to rebuild it? ain't happening
