Mentioned in another thread that my father in law has been selling more bikes to kids and adults these past couple weeks than he has in a long time.

The dream of the 90s is alive, in Portland.

I've seen more kids outside playing the last couple weeks than I have in the last 5 years combined. Entire families out walking on the canals and levees, dogs getting lot of walks etc..

Great to see, perhaps it will become a habit and folks will stick to it once the daily grind spins back up.

If this insanity keeps up we might have spontaneous neighborhood softball games break out.

You mean neighborhood against neighborhood kids show up, no trace ball, no uniforms, and just play to have fun.

I am still not satisfied until Jr’s play outside all day until the street lights come one.

I grew up in 70's, early 80's.. we would play outside in ditches, saw grass bushes, making forts and hide outs. Evening curfew was when it started getting dark!!!
Simpler times.... sitting home at all was huge let down, knowing your buddies were outside playing.

Today, children are made to be soft, spoiled, and ungrateful.

Nextdoor app right now is nothing but a bunch of Karens screaming about those damn kids and their bikes, golfcarts, teddy bear hunts etc.

If Dave is still in the paramedic business, he probably busy, in NYC.

If it's Sammy, he's probably in his Mexican compound.

There was a ton of people out Sunday afternoon - kids riding bikes, old people walking the road getting exercise and all the neighbors out doing yard work.

We tanked the world economy, why again?

oh, Belks was full, Kroger and Walmart had a ton of people there.
