Got into Double Dragon series more over Metroid, but both are all time great NES games

I was a huge fan of Ikari Warriors in the arcade. However. But I had a Sega Master System. Never owned an NES. Only played it when friends stayed over and brought it.
SMS had some outstanding games as Sega was always ahead of the technology curve but lacked 3rd party licensing back then.(young kids have no idea how lucky they are to have most games across platforms).
Now this game kept me up many nights.
Rambo For Sega was Better than Ikari on the Console
And Sega Master System had one of the biggest baddest and most expensive RPG console games ever at $80. It had in game saves on a built-in battery. One of the first(passwords were only way to continue play at the time).

What????? All this time I thought Zelda was a character. Why do they call the game Zelda? Sounds like a name to me.
Zelda is the name of the princess that Link is trying to rescue.
You never played Zelda?

It's also dangerous to go alone.

Error had me stumped for a good part of my 6th grade school year. Finally, I figured out what that dumb arse was talking about when I went into a town and his boy told me to go back and hollar at him.
I used to hate it, too, when you would try to talk to someone and then there arse would become a bat.
Zelda II was legit. It was not as difficult as Battle Toads, but it was damn sure tougher than Metroid -- a game that I spent my 4th grade year trying to figure out. "Oh! That door takes missiles!"

First game that I stayed up ALL night playing. Summer 87 or 88.
Same here. Man those were fun times. Metroid and Zelda were the first two games I owned (well, aside from Duck Hunt and SMB). Zelda was actually rather easy to beat. The 2nd one? Jesus, those caves with the Gators and big arse Armadillo dudes who threw rocks at you...then the fence post areas. And the mini-bosses were a bitch. The castles themselves were hard enough just to navigate through.

5. Tecmo Bowl
Wrong.
Super Tecmo Bowl, and it should be #1.
Tecmo Bowl sucked compared to Super Tecmo Bowl. I mean it tells you in the title.

That's what I meant. The one with Marcus and Bo...and also Randall Cunningham could beat any team by himself.

I actually liked Willow better than Zelda. Weird I know.
It was more of an Action RPG than just action like Zelda.
