I think you're confusing Enya with Enigma. It was Enigma that started the Gregorian chant thing in the early 1990's. Enya was very similar, but more Celtic type of music.
And none of this was from 2002 anyway. Enya started in the 80's and Enigma came out in 1990. This song is from 1990:
