I don’t like taxis due to the drivers usually being directly fron North Africa.
But the last Uber I took was driven by an Iranian.
The foreigners will soon take over Uber & Lyft.

I drove for both Uber and Lyft. Was accepted right away with Uber while Lyft accepted me after three days. Heard the same from other drivers as well. Uber doesn't vet thoroughly and is only concerned with getting as many drivers out on the road to maximize profits.
