If you have a halfway decent telescope you can actually see it through the lens.

I recommend the ISS detector app. Gives you a notification if the space station will be visible that night

My son and I happened to randomly look up and see it about 1.5 weeks ago, that's the second time that's happened. It's surprisingly bright!

I watched it go over my house last night. Very bright. Night before last was probably the brightest iridium flare I've seen. I tried to photograph it, but wasn't angled right

Thanks for the heads up. It was bright tonight. So much so, I'd imagine a lot of people saw what looked to be an airplane and never thought twice.

Watched it last few days. Was really awesome when the Shuttle and the Space Station where trailing each other and you could see both. Been watching for years, never gets old!
