Israel is claiming they got him. If so, this is massive.
I would love to be inside of their intelligence division. They know almost everything that happens in that region.

Thanks. I don’t use X really but not denying it can be useful for info.

This is the closest I can find to any claims on the Israeli side.

“Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah ‘could not have survived’ the Israeli airstrike on the group’s central command in Beirut’s Dahieh district if he had been in the building or beneath it, a senior U.S. intelligence official told Sky News Arabia. (Lior Ben Ari)”

Judging from the crater, I would be absolutely floored if he did.

Israel–Hamas War Discussion Thread: News Links On First Pageby ned nederlanderIsrael is small. It cannot survive without complete US support. They simply can’t root out Hamas, Islamic jihad, and whatever other organization will replace them root and stem without seriously compromising continued US support. Do what you can from the air and with bombs, invest more in rapid response militias along border settlements, and make sure you can defend against the drone swarm terror attack that will surely come your way in the next 10 years. There are no good choices here. But unless someone can tell me what is the exit ramp from a gaza invasion, I hope they don’t do it.
A year later, and I still see no exit ramps or understand how Netanyahu’s approach of full scale war on two fronts will make Israel a safer and better place to live.
Life in Israel has had no semblance of a return to normal a year later. Israel’s gdp being diverted to a war instead of development cannot continue. Inflation is high. Investment is down. The tourism industry is gone. Israelis with advanced degrees and dual citizenship are relocating to Europe and the US.
Netanyahu needs to go and turn resolution of his security blunder over to the next generation of Israeli leadership.
Israel is a poorer, smaller, and more isolated nation a year later . . . and that is the longterm goal of the October 7 attack.

“Amos Yadlin, a former head of IDF intelligence, says today’s strike in Beirut would not have been approved without ‘absolute certainty’ that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was in the targeted area.
He also tells Channel 12 news that his sources, which he does not name, are adamant that Nasrallah ‘is longer with us.’”

“Ali Karaki, Hezbollah’s southern front commander, was reportedly present at the Dahieh headquarters in Beirut when it was struck by Israeli forces, foreign sources reported Friday night. Karaki survived an Israeli assassination attempt last week. An Iranian general, commander of the Quds Force’s Lebanon and Syria Corps, was also said to be in the building. Israeli officials believe Hassan Nasrallah was killed in the strike, with one saying, ‘Anyone present did not survive.’”

Maybe so, like 9-11 and everything that has followed since that day. However, Islamic Extremism can’t be negotiated with, just like it can never be truly exterminated. The US and Israel aren’t perfect but we are the better than the option of Islamic Extremism.

LOL. Who’s next?
“Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar has relocated within the Gaza Strip after learning about the Israeli airstrike that killed Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, according to a Saturday report by Saudi state-owned television channel Al Arabiya.
The report also claimed that Sinwar's security circles have changed in the past few days and that Hamas leaders also reportedly decided to stop communicating with high officials abroad ‘until further notice.’”

It’s only a matter of time for Sinwar. He will be dead soon with his buddies.
Israel is showing that the western “please be nice and we will give you things” diplomatic bullshite doesn’t work and the only way to stop this shite is bomb them into submission while killing anyone who wants to sniff a leadership role. If you’ve ever thought about joining Hamas or Hezbollah you have a target on your back by the Israeli Air Force.

I'm really surprised and kind of impressed he's in Gaza at all. I expected he'd be chilling in a palace compound somewhere in Qatar or Egypt.
