My wife is pregnant and my father and father in law are both high risk.
So no, I’d rather not get it. I think I will be fine after, but I don’t know if my father and father in law would be if they contracted it.
Who knows how it would affect my wife and unborn child. I am unwilling to roll those dice so you can watch football.

You are correct. I’m using some sense and staying home, wearing a mask, and won’t be going to any bars...or football games for that matter for the foreseeable future. But you do you man, and increase the risk for everyone and extend this bullshite longer. I’d love for football this fall, but it’s not worth risking my child’s life over.

For a 6 week old that hasn’t fully developed their immune system yet and is too young for a flu vaccine?
He should be concerned. Even influenza can be deadly to a baby that young. Even basically a cold (RSV) can kill a baby that young. Their little lungs get easily overwhelmed by respiratory illnesses. And since they primarily breathe through their nose at that age....if their noses are stopped up with excess mucous from the respiratory illness....causes them to more easily go into respiratory distress.
