Its funny those that advocate bombing the Entire Middle East when the USA has numerous alliances with Sunni Arab states along with terrorist groups like the MKO, ISIS... and terrorist sponsoring states like Israel.

USA business and geopolitical interests are in the Middle East, which is why they've had such a heavy military influence and presence there for a long time.

Ghazi, do you hold the goat down yourself or do you have someone do that for you? I suppose it depends on the size of your target goat and your noodle arms.

Laugh all you want. ISIS may chop the heads off a few do-gooders, but they're not waging an active cyber-warfare against our country.

China is rapidly progressing through their own industrial revolution, and at our expense.

serious question as I don't keep up with much of this ISIS stuff- why don't these guys fight back

Well look at it from their perspective. You've been held captive for a couple years. Your government has basically abandoned you. They aren't being held by a government that cares about the Geneva convention, they're prisoners of radical Islamist fricks who kill because they've been led to believe that killing non-muslim is the will and mandate of God...

Your only hope to ever see your family and kids again is for a Special Forces rescue that never happens, and doesn't appear to be in the cards of ever happening due to a pussy in the oval office.

You'd probably be pretty ready to die by then too. I assume they've made peace within themselves that hopefully this time they act like they're going to kill me that they actually do it.

The guys that they're kidnapping and killing aren't military, they aren't trained to survive POW situations or how to really fight and kill in hand to hand.

I just wish for once we'd take a stance on these terror groups, and do what we say we'll do, and swing our dicks around to help convince them to stop fricking with our citizens if they want to see another sunrise.

Yall may have covered this. I did not read the whole thread but I would never give a final statement like he did, yet I heard they drug them therefore they do not know what they say.

this may be a dumb question but why the frick is ISIS doing this shite in the first place are they just a bunch of assholes or do they want a ransom or something?

It's a mistake to think of ISIS in the way we thought of Al Qaeda, Hamas, the Taliban, Muslim Brotherhood, etc. ISIS is comprised of individuals who are too violent and psychotic for other Islamic organizations.

They want to kill people because it's fun for them. They're not looking for a ransom, or a truce, or anything logical, and no quarter should be given to them. If we want to get rid of the threat, we need a solid estimate of how many fighters are in their organization, and we need to engage them with a target body count in mind, like in Vietnam.

In summary, yes, they're just a bunch of assholes.

It's coming, probably not with this administration, but it's coming. This sorry excuse for an admin will leave it to the next to actually do something. Bombing isn't going to cut it.

Hell no it won't. All that will stop them is an all out ground invasion with an occupying force. Which we did not do in Iraq and Afghanistan. You throw everything at them. And if anyone says we cant fight insurgents who blend with civilians is full of crap. There were plenty of groups of Germans who fought as guerrillas shortly after Germany's surrender in WWII and they were squashed. Why? Because we had an occupying force. With that said, I hope it never has to come to boots on the grounds.

I read somewhere ISIS makes them go through tons of mock executions so many times they are terrified but not convinced it is the real thing.

Our "allies" in the Middle East are just as bad if not worse than some of the fundamentalist we are trying to fight. Saudi Arabia is one of the worst.
