I had a Cobra Kang on the back porch tonight. My little 4 lbs Yorkie/Shi Tsu mix went after it. She was going to kill it. I grabbed her, picked up the snake (with a spatula) and threw it over the fence.

I was just surprised my dog went after it. She had never seen one before.

I guess it’s the terrier in her.

Nah, I use to find a bunch of dead snakes in the back yard and in her bed at my last house.

The black one is. The yellow one isn't.

I think my dumbass dog would be simultaneously afraid, and not afraid of a snake at the same time.

We are talking about a dog who was scared of a vacuum and broom, which was sitting still by his toy, but who wants to rip the fed ex guy's face off though.

No she’s not. Watched my golden carry a water snake by the middle of its body while biting it and the snake biting her. She got bit on lip but luckily non venomous.

My dog used to just kill them. After she saw that I cut the head off, she now decapitates and skins them. Good dog/pointer.

We had a Jack Russell that was a snake murderer. She'd shake them until blood was coming out of their eyes. She actually died from a water moccasin bite, but I'll be damned if we didn't find that moccasin dead a few days later from being ripped up by her.

Another terrier. I’m guessing it’s in their genes. They are varmint hunters.

Not at all. My wife called me once while I was not at home saying that my dog was playing with a snake in the back yard. She couldn’t tell me what kind cause she was too scared to go see. I race back home and fortunately it was just a big water snake, but he was grabbing it with his mouth and flinging it in the air and then chasing it down and doing it again.

Na that big lug will go after them until they try to bite him. Once they strike at him though he'll bay at it same way he does hogs

My Jack Russell used to kill them too. She would shake them to where it would sound like she was cracking a whip. Snake would be dead instantly. Could always tell the way she was barking that she found a snake. Once she saw me she would grab it and kill it like she wanted to show me.

Went crabbing and pulled up a snake in one of the nets..Threw/dumped it off to the side..My sister's big old Catahoula/Rhodesian Ridgeback stepped on it and jumped a mile in the air..He left it alone but we all had a big laugh.

My yorkie will attack any snake. It’s just their nature. Since I have moccasins in my back yard from time to time I have to be careful.

Same for ours. Like a high pitched yip compared to their usual bark?

Most of them aren’t which is a problem.

And where on earth do you live that you got a GDCK?
