Is wearing makeup deceitful and dishonest?

I really don't think women wear makeup for guys, but rather for other women. I think they try and make themselves look better, so other women won't judge them as much.

And the makeup game has stepped up big time and it can completely transform an fugly chick into a looker, but then again most can tell she has an inch thick layer of makeup on. That is why I prefer a woman who wears little to no makeup. Them natty beauties >>>>

I hear this a lot and I think it’s a mixed bag. Sure, they concern themselves over the little things like not wearing the same shoes with dress X twice, that they do for other women. But that’s probably because other women will notice and guys won’t.

I think they are wearing makeup for women and men. Just trying to put their best foot forward. Not necessarily for the opposite or same sex, just because they want to look their best and it’s socially acceptable for women to include makeup as part of that.

Essentially it is for men, biologically speaking. the fittest, most attractive looking women get what they perceive to be the best men, so while they are competing with each other, the ultimate goal is to remove the competition... which is for a mate.

But let’s say you’re right. If women are judging other women on their lack of makeup, the judgy makeup wearers seem to have some deep rooted psychological issues.

and makeup and other displays to vie for attention are just like any other animal but we are flipped from most of them

For most animals the male has the showy display and the female if there is a difference is the more drab one.

Are you guys so deeply rooted in this macho bullshite mentality that a woman can’t do something just because she likes it for herself? Why does it have to be FOR anyone when it applies to women, but you never apply that same mentality to yourself? No one says, that guy just watches football because he doesn’t want to be the only guy that doesn’t watch football? Why don’t you default to thinking that women wear makeup because it’s an artistic expression of aesthetics that they enjoy, instead of applying this negative motive for it? There’s a fracture in the way men think and perceive women that should be worked on. Y’all are judgmental as frick about women’s appearance, motive, choices, and way more so than other women at times.

As far as being deceitful, well If the gold sparkly eyelid is the thing that makes you attracted to a woman then you should probably check yourself, maybe you’re attracted to drag queens.
Under that assumption, it’s literally no different than you choosing a hairstyle or growing a beard to make yourself appear more attractive to others, and if you get a haircut and shave on a regular basis, then you’re just a tad hypocritical in your thought process pal.
