Yes, trashy and typically seen on Wal-Mart shoppers so that answers the question right there.

If people are going to make the assumption that you're from Livingston parish, then yes.

I mean, maybe I have the innate ability to see it, but I can still see people in grocery stores who are wearing cammo. I'm not fooled.
Perhaps I couldn't if they were wearing a ghillie suit on top of the cammo, but for now I'm going to say that cammo is best suited to the woods.

Is there a purpose of steel toed boots other than protection? You better damn well change your shoes before you go grocery shopping. What are you trying to do? Protect your toes from a falling box of hamburger helper?

meh, we live in the south so I don't see the point of people buying 3-4 warm coats just to look stylish
if you hunt and need a camo coat, there's no reason to buy another coat just to not be "trashy"

I would think hamburger helper and cammo steel toe boot shoppers are probably pretty common.
