I knew a girl like this in college. Her voice was incredibly squeaky and high pitched. I hated being around her when she got excited

Nothing to do with pitch, but I had a few classes in college with an incredibly hot girl from Michigan who had a godawful accent. Michigan flies under the radar when it comes to the bad Northern/Midwestern accents. Never dated her or anything, but I couldn't get past that accent. She was very nice, but I couldn't listen to her for more than a minute or two.
I've had people from outside the south tell me they love southern accents, but I have yet to meet anyone who likes hearing a Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin or Ohio dialect, to name just a few.

Annoying voices & terrible names are both reasons I wouldn’t date someone.

I’m beyond grateful I lost my Great Lakes accent. It’s pretty rough to hear my siblings talk.

typical socal voice, what I'm finding to be a very grating is this trend in younger women to talk like an elf or a munchkin at about 78rpm, not sure exactly where that's coming from or how to better describe, it a lot of ads, djs, some of my daughter's(no pics,) friends and co-workers are picking that up
