Driving in to work this morning down 75 in Dallas. On the OTHER SIDE of the highway there's flashing lights, and we go from going 75 to 35 mph for a little while. It's so damn dumb. There is a divider in between the two sides of the highway. Whatever is going on on the other side has precisely 0 effect on the side I am driving on.
This and fricktards that can't put their phone away (or use a hands-free device) long enough to drive to/from work.
If it's so important that you can't maintain speed and distance, pull the frick over and finish your conversation.

Didn't civil engineers prove this was the most efficient way to deal with lane closures?
Civil engineers also designed the new bridge, the 10-110 merge, the Washington St exit, and the LA 1 interchange.
Draw your own conclusions.
