If i remember the MythBusters episode correctly, it can't be a thing because sweat and everything else would set it off too because of the similar chemicals. Also, I got a C in chemistry so i could be wrong.

I love watching people do this at the beach. At least pretend like you're going in to swim.
However, when I post up next to a bunch a girls on spring break I just sip my beer and enjoy the show.
