Is the Pfizer Vaccine Labeled “Comirnaty” Available Yet in the US? FDA Approved Aug 2021

I know I know it’s is physically the same thing and they made millions of doses prior to the name being approved.
I am just curious when the “brand” name version actually hits the shelf if it hasn’t already. Yes I tried to Google but it just said what I said above that it’s the same thing but w/o Comirnaty on the bottle.
I will admit at first I thought this was a big nothing burger but as the months went by something just seems weird about it.
I also assume if they “update” the vaccine to cover the newer strains then that would require a new FDA approval? If so is there a chance the Comirnaty labeled shot never actually sees the light of day?

I got my booster in October and they wrote Comirnaty on my vaccine card.

That would be great news. If true it would be nice if the actual interwebs fact checkers would put that it is available out to the world instead of the explanation that the two vaccines are identical.

Each version is assigned an NDC number which ties back to specific lot numbers if you can get that NDC number for the new released version under Comirnaty you can check that way. All of this should be on FDA website you just have to dig

It’s not available in any US market still. You can call Pfizer and ask when and where it’ll be available.

It is because Pfizer has chosen not to get all their production facilities inspected and approved by the FDA. Why do they not want these facilities inspected and approved? Who knows.
