2000 4Runner owner checking in...just hit 250K and still running great, hopeful it keeps up.

When it does crap out, I'll buy another 4Runner.

Did the 87 have the removable roof? I had a buddy in high school that had a Four Runner that you could remove the roof off the back like the old school Broncos, but I can't remember what model year it was.

Jeez everyone is ripping me a new one in this thread. Did anyone read the word "about" in the sentence? I can't remember exactly which year I bought it in (early 2007ish) or drove it til (mid 2016ish). My timeline was off a little bit, my apologies.

We bought a '98, drove it until last December when we replaced it with a newer car and gave the '98 to my daughter. Still going strong.
