We can add that to the list under Mountain Men.

Beards aren't a "fad" so that will never die.

Man buns are gay though

They kind of are.

It's definitely a fad to keep a continuous 5-o'clock shadow by using a trimmer instead of actually shaving. Watch any TV show or movie - 90% of guys look like they shaved ~2 days ago.

never understood guys who have likely never been hunting, fishing, camping, split firewood, etc. growing huge beards

What the hell does any of that have to do with facial hair?

I don't wanna shave my beard because I've had it so long and some people say I have a baby face. I don't know what to do

Beards have always been around, but they've gotten really popular the last few years. Both hipsters and non hipsters are rocking beards.

It takes a real man to rock a clean shave on a daily basis, in my opinion.

I did that from the time I was 15 until I was about 22 because I didn't like to shave but either couldn't or wasn't yet confident in my ability to grow a full beard

After that I've had a full beard which I trim about once month with a 3 guard.

I can count on my fingers the number of times in my life I've shaved clean with an actual razor and it has nothing to do with being trendy or cool. It helps that it's an attractive look, but I was doing that long before boys who can't grow beards started getting butthurt by real men and claiming beards were a "trend"

If anything I'd say that shaving was the thing that was "trendy". A large portion of the 20th century is about the only time in human history that being clean shaven was more common among men than having a beard

Man buns are cool as shite for the dudes that can pull them off. I wish I could pull off a bun. Instead I have to settle for this moustache.

I think the continual rising prices of 5 blade disposable razors that are kept behind lock and key at the drugstore probably had something to do with the popular return of facial hair.

We also have a generation of adults who missed out on the 80's New Wave fads of hair shaved above the ear.

For guys with dense beards, it's a timesaver if you can get away with not having to do a clean shave every day.

Because they are too lazy to shave and bitches with mental issues and tats everywhere tell them that beards are sexy.

Also, growing a beard covers up a weak jaw line, which describes the majority of men on this forum and in this country.
