Is stuff stolen from cars covered under homeowners?

I hate a thief but this one stole Christmas gifts. So I especially hate this one.

i had an SUV stolen in NOLA .... had 4 suits hanging in the back and USAA reimbursed for all of it.

Yes those will be more than likely under your HO policy, which might have limitations if you were not on your property

I've had stuff stolen, and they didn't care about me not having receipts. They just asked the values, and then make and model of everything

Depends on the adjuster and the company. I have one adjuster up in Rhode Island that uses my company and he will not pay replacement cost on something unless you have documentation.

Most dont really need anything unless its high value though
