Not true. Look at the links o provided. I meant hitting freezing temperature, not a sustained hard freeze.

Southern Louisiana averages 60 inches of rainfall per year. Temperatures in December range from lower 40's to lower 60's. Temperatures in summer average lower 70's to lower 90's (daily range). SubTropical Climate.
Louisiana averages around 65-70 thunderstorm days compared to southern Florida which averages nearly 100 thunderstorm days per year.

I have had rain 23 of the last 25 days at my house in Covington. On one of those days, we had a light rain that didn't register on radar. As far as Hawaii getting below freezing, Mt. Waialeale regularly has snow in the winter.

Humid Sub Tropical, which covers everything from Virginia to SE Texas.
I think the only part of Florida that is in the tropics is far south and the Keys.

Raining at least once every 5 days isn't a dry season.

It's considered dry when the rest of the year it rains every day. The question was, "when is south la dry season?"!

>75" of rain this year at my house just west of Ponchatoula. Rainfall of 60" qualifies as a rain forest
