Yeah. Wet and cloudy are accurate descriptors of south Louisiana weather mid-late winter into April. It can be overcast for long periods of time, and constantly wet.

July and August at least produces sunshine in between the daily downpours.

When is our dry season?

Mid September through early November. It pretty much stops raining when it's time to plant food plots.

Acocording to that, the dry season would be March through May, then Oct to Nov.

If you want to take the lowest consecutive, it's Oct-Nov.

Based on your chart, dec-feb are in no way drier than the average month

If you want to go there you might as well say September through may is the dry season

It's pretty dry Oct-March

, relative to what?

If you take out June and October, the two extremes in New Orleans, the 5 months from November-March average 4.93 inches of rain. April, May, July, August, and September average 5.26 inches of rain.

Yep.

I think the wet, overcast winters in Baton Rouge and New Orleans can be a little bit of a downer...but August is by far the most miserable month. It just seems extra-humid.

It gets wet as frick again in late November through April.

There have been multiple. Multiple. Why don't you see for yourself on this website. Change the dates/years and you'll see the official data. Why do you feel compelled to argue with me about something factual?
