Why would I see a therapist that I'm probably smarter than anyway?

Also, therapy in and of itself is neither good nor bad.

The point is that it's not a red flag or green flag. In response to the OP, judge the person you're dating on their actions and not whether they're going to counseling. BiPolar and Borderline Personality has obvious signs.

Kinda dumb. When people are dating, they're always putting their best foot forward so you won't know the real them until it's too late. That's why it's important to look into things like this and maybe hire a private detective. So you can know them better.

I don't feel like dealing with a bipolar chick at this point in my life. When I was younger, I was okay with it. Now, not so much

People like you are the reason people that need help don't go.

Personally IDGAF, but to the mentally ill person, perception is ultra important, and there is a stigma that going to a therapist for an unbiased person to talk to is "crazy".

I have found that shaming them works well

No doubt fish, but I didn't care as long as I was getting it in. One ended up stabbing me in the leg with some darts, the other busted my lip, scratched my face, and poured my seizure meds in the toilet, and the last ran over my bushes. 2 out of the 3 said they were pregnant after the relationship was over.

Don't care, had sex

Those people aren't put under court orders to go to "therapists". It's more to psychiatrists.

Did they go to therapy to get pills? No thanks

Did they go with the intent of trying to work it out & the therapist put them on pills? I'm open to it

Or are they not on pills at all? See no issues

Therapists typically don't prescribe medication. You're thinking of psychiatrists.
