Nah. Godfathers Pizza for pitchers of beer on the 2 floor patio was as far as I went after that.

Bono's Pizza was a few yards away from RTC

It was torn down to build a Circle K c. '85

Maybe you went there and found a roach in your pepperoni, and blocked the entire traumatic experience

As I said, Bono's was near RTC, and was torn down to build a Circle K

There was at least one other Bono's, I don't remember where

IIRC it was gone by the time Catfish Town came along

Anybody remember the Sambo's that was nearby? Or so I'm told -- for some reason I have no memory of it at all

I do recall the Sambo's in Biloxi as a wee tot, we drove past it but never went in

I love pancakes.

Therefore Little Black Sambo was my favorite book.

Wasn't Sambo's in the same building that Denny's was? Now it's Mestizos isn't it?

Used to get pizza a good bit from Bono's as a kid. They were gone by mid 80's. Too bad they put the circle K in its spot.

It closed in the 80's.

There was another just like it in Boulder that closed a few years before the Baton Rouge one closed. I used to eat at the Boulder location all the time. I believe they were the only two in the country.

Well here are a few. The Circle K was the spaghetti store. Canes was a gas station. Pinetta’s is still going (btw, it started in 3rd street). Old man used to close it in July and head back to the old country. Bonus question: Before TJ Ribs, what restaurant did he have that is now Ruth’s Chris? George’s used to be Ruby’s.
