I feel like this is a subtle brag thread

I'm guessing you mean a button down shirt. Yes that's fine
Posted on 2/21/17 at 6:31 pm to Salamander_Wilson
Yes. It's like the one you posted but with a tiny blue check. His school requires the boys to wear a tie. Last year some were in seer sucker and vineyard vine. But he refuses to wear seersucker :(

That will be fine. Red tie if you have it. Yellow is also acceptable. Then green if need be. Navy pants. Khaki may be fine given he's a kid
Posted on 2/21/17 at 6:32 pm to berrycajun
Like that?
Soild color tie.

Props to your kid for realizing seersucker is silly as formal attire.

Thanks. He's got a nice red tie and flat front dark tan " khakis" from banana (not chinos).
Thx for your help! I just wanted to make sure I didn't send him looking goofy. I don't pay much attention to men's dress clothes. That's my husband's department ( but I couldn't ask him. Can't reach him until tomm.)

Yeah, he'll be fine with that.

FYI, shoes should match the belt unless he's wearing a VVines style logo belt.

In February?
Also, Edmonds or Cole Haan. I liked my JM's, but they didn't last.

Edmonds

The Cole Haan's with the Nike air were the best for my job. Motherfrickers don't think you can run them down in dress shoes. They didn't know I had my Nike's on.

Your kid is going to be fine. If you have it, make sure the shirt is white or light blue.
