Is it important to you that your washer and dryer are a matched set?

We have brand new ones and they don't match. Old washer and dryer died 3 weeks apart. Nobody in town had the gas dryer to match the new washer, and wife had shitloads of laundry to do, so we bought another model.

It's annoying the piss out of me.

That’s extremely sad but you see it so often. Broken heart.

Not important. I replace the one that needs replacing and use the other one until it needs replacing.

My dryer died last summer (it was my grandma’s. She gave it to me. It was 30 years old). Replaced it. In April my washer died. They don’t match, but they work so I’m happy.

My washer is from like 1985 and I refuse to get rid of it. Almost none of the parts are plastic. It's just well made.

I've had probably 5-6 dryers in adulthood and they have all sucked. Appliances are so cheaply made now.

It's annoying yes, but I got over it within 5 minutes.

Not important at all. I would go with the best rated washer/dryer, regardless of brand/matching qualities.

Unmatched and pre-dented is the only way to roll.

Washer is speed queen. Dryer is a 20 year old maytag.

This is why you have a door to your laundry room.

What happens in the laundry room stays in the laundry room.
