Is I-110 and US-190/61 the only 4 stack interchange in Louisiana?

I can't think of any others in the whole state. Which is sad.

Louisiana still employs cloverleaf designs on far, far busier interchanges than this one.

IDK what they call LA1@I-10 in Port Allen, but it looks impressive from the air. I think it's a triple.

There is a 4 stack in Shreveport on I-49, another on I-110 in Baton Rouge, and as mentioned on I-310 towards Luling.

As for all the stupid clover leafs....Louisiana just doesn't really try very hard with infrastructure. Most places are trying to get rid of those. They are dangerous and lead to traffic congestion.

Sad that you can't think of the others? Shreveport has a couple - Inner Loop at I-49 and I-20 at Spring/Market Streets. I-20 at I-49 also seems to qualify.

Why have stack interchanges when you can reduce the interstate to one lane at a critical junction off of a bridge.

Shreveport has a few big stacks. Not sure on if they are 3 or 4 stacks but they're definitely larger and more efficient than the BR ones and some Nola ones. Took a page out of Dallas's book.

I-49 / 3132 on the south end. 3132 / I-20 & I-220 and I-20 / I-49 downtown, and well as I-20 / I-220 on the Bossier side.

ETA: I was wrong. The I-49 / 3132 on the south end is a 4 stack I think and the others are 2 or 3. Can't remember if the I-49 / I-20 one near downtown is a 3 or 4 but I think its a 3.

I made a post about this a while back.

Texas has them at every intersection. Louisiana only has a handful of them.

I-49/I-20 Shreveport
I/49/LA 3132 Shreveport
I-110/US 61/190 Baton Rouge
I-310/US 61 St Charles Parish

I-10/Causeway isn't a four level stack but it's a good design and counts as Louisiana trying.

The amount of cloverleaf interchanges on Louisiana's interstate system is an embarrassment.

Louisiana really needed to finish the I-410 inner loop in Baton Rouge in the 60s. It's what they evolved into I-110. US 61/190 is basically interstate grade from Plank Rd to past Scenic Highway. From I-110 to Scenic Highway is 100% interstate quality on that short stretch heading in the direction of the old bridge.

What was this supposed to look like? 61 north of BR is basically interstate grade minus a few towns with red lights. It could easily be changed to interstate to Natchez. Same goes for 61 south of BR once you get past Gonzales, just the redlight towns.

What is the stack on 61 coming into Kenner/Metry? I forget the name of that little interstate road that you can merge up on to. I will say the elevated roundabout on causeway and 61 is....interesting.

ETA: I-310 and hwy 61 interchange is a 4 stack I think. Are we counting the bottom road on the ground?

BATON ROUGE EXPRESSWAY

The genesis of the present I-110 was a short stretch of freeway constructed in the mid-1950s called the Baton Rouge Expressway. The first section extended roughly one mile (1.6 km) between Boyd Avenue (now Spanish Town Road) and Plank Road.[9] Traffic was fed onto the expressway from the downtown area via the one-way couplet of North 9th and 10th Streets, a continuation of the divided thoroughfare of East Boulevard.[9] The expressway was not initially constructed as part of the Interstate Highway System, although the Louisiana Department of Highways designed it for future inclusion.[10] It was given the internal designation of LA 3022 and also served as part of US 61/190 Bus. from its opening on August 20, 1957 until 1960.

INTERSTATE 410

In 1960, US 61/190 Bus. was moved onto its present route, and the Baton Rouge Expressway became part of the newly designated I-410. By 1963, the expressway was extended south to Government Street.[9][12] The connections to I-10 were made when the adjoining sections of that highway were completed eastbound to Perkins Road in September 1964[13] and westbound across the Mississippi River in April 1968.[14]

I-410 was intended as a northern beltway extending from I-10 west of Port Allen, crossing the Mississippi River via the existing Huey P. Long Bridge on US 190, and then traveling along the present route of I-110 southward to rejoin I-10.[15] This plan was scrapped around 1965, and the Baton Rouge Expressway was renumbered as I-110 to reflect its function as a north–south spur.

The reason that the US-61/Jefferson Hwy. US-61/US-190, and US-61/Greenwell Springs Rd. intersections are interstate designs. Existing intersecting roads when the 410 project was still a thing.

12 east to 59 north is THE WORST in a semi - trying to slow to 15-20mph to avoid rolling over with traffic merging in from 59south going 10east. There used to be A LOT more rollovers there but they added in some banking to help keep the trucks upright.

Yeah I looked it up. Doubt it would make that much difference now as if you are going North it would help but you can already do that from WBR and if you're going downtown or beyond you are still gonna end up in bottle neck traffic on many days. Interesting though.
